Barbra Stern is a resident of Fort Lauderdale and has been practicing management-side labor and employment law for approximately 17-18 years in addition to providing general litigation services.  In that time, she has defended a number of small and medium-sized organizations with employment claims, and has represented large automotive dealerships, including but not limited to Morse Operations, Inc.; Asbury Automotive Group, Inc.; Saturn of Saint Petersburg, Inc.; and Brothers Media, LLC d/b/a Automotive Broadcasting Network in litigation.  She also regularly consults with employers to ensure their employment practices are in compliance with the law.  In terms of her general litigation practice, she handles all aspects of insurance defense including premises liability, security, personal injury, coverage disputes, and commercial litigation.

 

In addition to her legal practice, Barbra Stern serves as a Commissioner with the Florida Election Commission after being appointed by former Florida Governor Rick Scott in 2012 and reappointed in 2016.
